Deep Mine is a single-player walking-simulator styled level.
​
You are a member of the response team sent to locate and uncover the mysteries of a distress signal coming from an abandoned mining field on an exoplanet in a restricted zone.
Objective: Follow the leads of evidence scattered across the mining field to locate the missing personnel who sent the distress signal.​




GAMEPLAY WALKTHROUGH
ESTABLISHING
The initial overview of the entire mining crater over the edge of the cliff, next to your arrival ship and the crash site.

Establishes readability and mental mapping of the whole level.


CABLE CART DROP
The sudden snapping of the cable caused the player to drop from a high altitude onto the bottom platform of the Main Crater.
​
This is the first "push" that deviates the player from their main path, and partially blocks the L.O.S. to the final destination. Redirecting the player, transitioning from exterior spaces into interior spaces.


A CLOSER GLIMPSE
As the player progresses further to the top of the gigantic sewer maintenance platforms, a close glimpse of the Master Drill will reappear to "pull" the player's attention to the final destination, which is getting closer and closer.


DESTINATION
Reaching the final destination - inside the Master Drill, where the distress signal echoes last.
